We are authorised to provide CQS training

We are authorised by The Law Society to offer core and update training courses required as part of your CQS accreditation. We offer the following courses:

  • Core Training – Financial Crime
  • 2020 Update Training – Conveyancing Practice
  • 2020 Update Training – Risk, Compliance and Client Care

These courses are provided on our cloud-based learning management system which can help you to manage your competency framework.

Our CQS training courses are now available for your firm to subscribe to for £35 per person/per course + VAT with discounts available for multiple users. An annual subscription to our CQS training library gives you access to the two update courses, with the added value of the Financial crime core course and 5 CQS Policies and Precedents, for just the cost of the two update courses.

Maintaining CQS Compliance

As part of the wider Access group, Riliance now support over 1000 firms with CQS training. We also help firms maintain their CQS accreditation and satisfy the key requirements of the Core Practice Management Standards (CPMS) with the use of our dedicated Risk and Compliance platform.

What courses do I need to do by when?

The latest round of CQS training has been launched in November 2020. If your firm is a member of the scheme, it will be mandatory for all relevant staff in CQS accredited firms to complete these courses within 6 months of the date of their re-accreditation. 

Relevant members of staff includes all conveyancers within the accredited practice, regardless of their status and qualification eg Heads of Conveyancing, any partners/ managers/ directors who undertake residential conveyancing and any qualified or non-qualified conveyancers.
