Maintaining CQS Compliance
As part of the wider Access group, Riliance now support over 1000 firms with CQS training. We also help firms maintain their CQS accreditation and satisfy the key requirements of the Core Practice Management Standards (CPMS) with the use of our dedicated Risk and Compliance platform.
With specialised modules focusing on Risk Management, Audits, Complaints and Breaches, our Risk and Compliance platform helps improve visibility by centrally recording all compliance data. It can help improve efficiency by automating the production of management information as well as helping to embed an effective risk and compliance culture within your firm.
What courses do I need to do by when?
Following the Law Society's announcement in August 2019, the latest round of CQS training is now in progress. If your firm is a member of the scheme, it will be mandatory for all relevant staff in CQS accredited firms to complete these courses within 6 months of the date of their re-accreditation.
Relevant members of staff includes all conveyancers within the accredited practice, regardless of their status and qualification eg Heads of Conveyancing, any partners/ managers/ directors who undertake residential conveyancing and any qualified or non-qualified conveyancers.
We are in regular communication with The Law Society regarding the next round of CQS courses and will update our syllabus accordingly when they become available.
